Who may register: open to all K and Grade 1 players who live in Newton or attend a Newton Public School. 

This division will remain T-Ball. As the season progresses, we will transition to coach-pitch for players who would like to hit off a coach for more of a challenge. (Don’t worry, there are no strikeouts in this division. We’ll bring back out the tee if a player struggles to hit off the coach.)

2024 Schedule: 6 Saturdays in May-June. Sessions will run from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. April 27, May 4, May 11, May 18, June 1, June 8. No games Memorial Day Weekend.

Where: Jean Cole Softball Field

Structure: each session will include instructional time and a short game. Each and every player will get many, many "touches on the ball" while learning throwing, catching, and hitting basics. It's going to be quick moving and fun!

Uniform & Equipment: The league will provide a T-shirt and visor. Players bring their own glove and water bottle and should wear comfortable pants and sneakers. Cleats are good, but not required. All other equipment will be supplied by the league.

Cost: $95 (plus $15 late fee after deadline).
